What is Morpheus 8?

Morpheus 8 is micro-needling with radio frequency.

​

Tiny sterile needles penetrate the skin creating little channels that the radio frequency can travel through. 

​

You receive all the benefits of regular micro-needling (ie: pore size reduction, even skin tone, even skin texture, etc) but amplified benefits from the radio frequency (skin tightening, building collagen & elastin, minimizing fine lines, etc). These two together create the ideal treatment for all of these skin concerns as well as many others. Safe treatment from face to body, it can be used anywhere.

Who is a Candidate?

All skin types and age groups.


Great for younger skin types looking to prevent or treat early signs of aging or Mature/older skin types looking to treat signs of aging, discolouration, or laxity in the skin.

All types of surgical scars (ie: augmentation scars and stretch marks, etc) to help lessen the appearance and create desired results. 

​

Not Recommended:

  • If you are pregnant, lactating or may be pregnant. You cannot receive this treatment.

  • If you are taking prescription topical medications or using Accutane. You cannot receive this treatment.

  • If you have any skin conditions or open lesions that are present on the skin. You cannot receive this treatment. 

  • If you are undergoing cancer treatments. You cannot receive this treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

A treatment plan usually consists of 1 to 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart depending on the skin concern and desired results.

What is the downtime?

No downtime. Redness on the skin can last a few hours. The following few days the skin can show small micro-needling pinpoints but these heal fairly quickly. 

​

Overall, the skin on the face will heal completely within a week. Skin on the body takes a little longer can can last up to 2 weeks. 

​

When will you see results and how long does it last?

Results for face can be seen 4 to 6 weeks after the first treatment, and 6 to 12 weeks for body, although some results can be seen immediately. 

​

Continuing treatment plan will allow these results to build (ie: building collagen in the skin to see less fine lines and wrinkles). 

​

These results can be seen for at least 1 year as they are natural collagen and elastin building. Some maintenance can assure longer lasting results. 

​

What is maintenance?

1-2 treatments a year should be considered with a good home skin care plan depending on desired results and treatment area.

What does a treatment look like?

The skin is examined and a consultation is performed to ensure this is the ideal treatment and candidate.


The client will be numbed for 1 hour before the treatment begins. The entire process takes 45 minutes to 1 hour for larger areas and 20 to 30 minutes for smaller areas. 

​

The client will be sent home with on occlusive layer on the skin with home skin care instructions and skincare to be used for the first few days.

Pre/Post Care for Morpheus 8

Pre-Care Instructions

  • If you are pregnant, lactating or may be pregnant. You cannot receive this treatment.

  • If you are taking prescription topical medications or using Accutane. You cannot receive this treatment.

  • If you have any skin conditions or open lesions that are present on the skin. You cannot receive this treatment. 

  • If you are undergoing cancer treatments. You cannot receive this treatment. 

  • If you are on Accutane, any other medication or have any health conditions prior to your appointment.

  • Avoid the use of retinoid products for 7 days prior to treatment. 

  • No laser treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or other treatments on the skin for 14 days prior to Morpheus 8. 

  • No botox/filler for 14 days prior to Morpheus 8 treatment on face.

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 14 days before treatment. 

Post-Care Instructions

  • Do not go to the gym, work out, or excessively sweat for 24 hours post treatment. 

  • Do not use hot tubs, saunas, have hot showers for 48 hours post treatment.

  • Do not use lotions or fragrances, AHA's, BHA's, retinoids, vitamin C or actives for 48 hours post treatment. 

  • Do not excessively scrub skin. Only lightly wash area post treatment using provided aftercare kit for 3 days before returning to normal skin care routine. 

  • Do not use self tan, tanning beds, and avoid sun exposure for at least 14 days. 

  • Do not wax, thread, or pluck any hair in treatment area for 14 days post treatment. 

  • Do not have any other facials, laser services, or massages on the treated area for 14 days.

  • Always wear SPF30 or higher when out in the sun. 

  • Makeup can be worn 24 hours after treatment.
